Registration of a child’s birth is produced by the organs of registration of acts of the civil condition (a registry office) of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic Kazakhstan in accordance with the Law of the Republic Kazakhstan "About marriage and family" from December, 17, 1998. Statement about the birth of a child must be done in registry offices (a registry office) not later than of two months since the birth day.
The book of registering of a child’s birth contributes: time, birthplace, sex, name, patronymic name, surname, and also names, patronymic names, surnames of parents, their constant place of residence and their nationality.
Period of execution of registration and issue of certificate at presence of documents is produced during the two workdays.
If a child is given a birth by a mother, who is a foreign person, a person without a citizenship or residing in the other region, a reception of a certificate about child’s birth is provided on outflow of 32 calendar days.
State tax for registration of a newborn is not levied.
Attention!
In case of absence of documents, certifying a personality of the parents, it is enough to present a certificate about conclusion of marriage.
Reception of a reference for an allowance
A single reference for reception of an allowance is given on the base of a certificate about the birth of a newborn.
Reference for reception of a monthly allowance is given on the base of assembly record.
Reception certificate of birth of a child
For reception of a certificate of birth of a child it is necessary to give the following documents if:
parents are married
a child is at the age till 2 months
- a statement;
- a book of registration of people (a house register, an address reference);
- a medical certificate of birth;
- an original of a document, certifying a personality of parents or an interested person;
- a copy of a document, certifying a personality of parents or an interested person;
- an original of a certificate about conclusion of marriage;
- a copy of a certificate about conclusion of marriage.
a child is at the age from 2 months till 1 year, additionally:
- an expository /in connection with that a period of registration of a birth is broken.
a child at the age from 1 year till 16 years, additionally:
- an expository /in connection with that a period of registration of a birth is broken.
- a reference from a polyclinic about that a child is examined in the medical area;
- a reference from a registry office about absence of registering of an act about birth of a child.
those who were born not in the given region at the age from 2 months till 1 year, in addition:
- an expository /in connection with that a period of registration of a birth is broken.
- a reference from a polyclinic about that a child is examined in the medical area;
- a reference from a registry office about absence of registering of an act about birth of a child.
those who were born not in the given region at the age from 1 year till 16 years:
- an expository /in connection with that a period of registration of a birth is broken.
- a reference from a polyclinic about that a child is examined in the medical area;
- a reference from a registry office about absence of registering of an act about birth of a child.
a child at the age from 1 years till 16 years if parents are foreign people or a person without citizenship
- a statement;
- medical certificate about a birth of a child;
- an original of documents, certifying a personality of the parents or an interested person: constantly living on the territory of the Republic Kazakhstan - a residence permit, temporarily staying - a document with a permit about temporary residence in the Republic Kazakhstan; if they are persons without a citizenship- residence permit for a person without a citizenship;
- copies of documents, certifying a personality of the parents or an interested person, notorized notarially;
- translation of documents, certifying a personality of the parents or an interested person, notorized notarially;
- an original of a certificate about conclusion of the marriage of the parents;
- a copy of a certificate about conclusion of the marriage of the parents, notorized notarially;
- a translation into the state or Russian languages of a certificate about conclusion of the marriage of the parents, notorized notarially;
- an expository /in connection with that a period of registration of a birth is broken.

- a child at the age till 2 months

in a maternity home at the age from 2 months till 1 years, additionally:
- a statement of a mother or a statement of an interested person;
- an expository /in connection with that a period of registration of a birth is broken.
- a reference from a polyclinic about that a child is examined in the medical area;
outside of a maternity home at the age from 2 months till 1 years, additionally:
- a statement of a mother or a statement of an interested person;
- an expository /in connection with that a period of registration of a birth is broken.

- a reference from a registry office about absence of registering of an act about birth of a child.

- a reference about an age of a child from a medical institution.
