"The GDP growth in the first half of the year made up 8%", Kazakh Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zhanar Aitzhanova has said today at the session of the Government.

According to her, the results of the first half of the year prove that the Kazakh economy is on the growth path.

"Such estimation is based on the dynamics of changes of the short term economic indicator that is calculated on the basis of the real growth rates in six main sectors of the economy - agriculture, industry, transport, trade, communication and construction. This indicator increased by 8.8% during the reporting period", Zh.Aitzhanova said.
