Industrial production in Kazakhstan up by 11% in first half of 2010
"The industrial production in Kazakhstan increased by 11% in the first half of the year compared to the corresponding period of 2009", Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zhanar Aitzhanova has said today at the Governmental session.
According to her, the production increase in the manufacturing industry in the first half of the year defined the rates of increase in the mining industry and made up 18.3%. As the Minister said, this shows qualitative changes in the economy of the country.
"The increase in the manufacturing industry was provided by the dynamic development of engineering of Kazakhstan the production increase of which made up 67.8% in half of the year. The chemicals production rose to 67.5%", the Minister said. Source: KAZINFORM
