Kazakh-British Technical University ranked first in general ranking of technical universities of Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan
The Kazakh-British Technical University is ranked first in the general ranking of technical universities of the Ministry of education and Science of Kazakhstan, the press-office of the University informs. Such rankings are improving the quality of education and they should be certainly conducted more often.
The calculation is done in accordance with three points taken into account these are the assessment of the quality of institution resources that makes 60 percent, expert's assessment of the institution activities which is to make 10 percent and conducting a sociological surveys of the employers and state bodies - 30 percent.
Methodology of ranking was approved by the International Ranking Expert Group (IREG-3) at the conference in Shanghai University in 2007.
The best ranked university among multi-field universities became the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan became the best ranked among humanitarian and economic institutions.
Karaganda State Medical Univesity is first in the ranking of medical institutions, the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay leads all the rest pedagogical institutions of the country and the best ranked institution in the sphere of art became the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.
